01 / THE WORKFLOW
Bring homework, past papers and other maths work into one review workflow, with provisional marks and supporting evidence for you or your teaching team to check.
Provide homework, a past paper or any other maths work within the supported levels and exam boards.
Review provisional marks linked to the student’s working, with confidence indicators and uncertainty made explicit.
The tutor or teacher approves, adjusts or escalates each decision. Delta Mark does not assign final marks or post grades.
TIME BACK FOR TEACHING
Compare marking from scratch with reviewing evidence-linked provisional marks. See what a change in marking time could mean for your workload.
Use the same batch of homework, past papers or other maths work for both sides of the comparison.
Marking each piece from scratch.
Estimated setup, review and approval.
Time you could put towards learner feedback, lesson preparation or individual support.
Illustration, not a measured result or guarantee. The starting manual estimate uses the reference example of 50 papers in 3 hours. One minute of review per piece and 10 minutes of setup are editable assumptions, not measured Delta Mark performance. Actual savings depend on the work and review required. AI processing time is excluded; this estimates educator time, not total turnaround.
02 / BUILT FOR REVIEW
We’re designing Delta Mark around the questions an educator actually asks: where did that mark come from, and what needs a closer look?
Evidence first.
Educator judgement throughout.
Trace a provisional mark back to the relevant part of the student’s submission.
Confidence and abstention are part of the design. When the system cannot make a supported judgement, it should flag the question for review.
The pilot will evaluate agreement with independent expert marking, tutor acceptance and review time. Accuracy and time savings are not yet proven.
03 / TWO WAYS TO WORK WITH US
A simple web application for tutors and teaching teams across tutoring centres, test-prep organisations, schools and other education providers to review homework, past papers and any other maths work within the supported levels and exam boards. No agent framework or developer tools required.
Explore the same hosted assessment capability through a defined, versioned contract for your product’s integration.

04 / A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Delta Mark is in development. We’re welcoming tutors, tutoring centres, test-prep organisations, schools and other education providers, alongside a smaller group of technical EdTech design partners to help shape and evaluate the pilot.
Delta Mark is for individual tutors, tutoring centres, test-prep organisations, schools and other education providers. Whether you teach independently or work as part of a teaching team, you can review provisional marks for homework, past papers and other maths work within the supported levels and exam boards.
Delta Mark can mark any homework, past paper or other maths work within the supported levels and exam boards: GCSE and A Level Mathematics across OCR, AQA and Edexcel, as well as 11 Plus Mathematics. Every mark remains provisional until reviewed by a tutor or teacher.
No. Outputs are provisional. A tutor or teacher must approve, adjust or escalate the decisions. The service does not post official grades, message students or replace educator judgement.
We’ll discuss your marking workflow, agree a bounded pilot scope and evaluation approach, and define responsibilities before work begins. Technical partners will also help validate the integration contract.
The planned model combines an annual platform minimum with an included assessment allowance and volume pricing above it. Pilot terms are agreed directly; public per-call pricing will follow cost and willingness-to-pay evidence. There is no free tier planned.
Data handling, access, retention and responsibilities will be agreed as part of pilot scoping before learner data is used. Please don’t send student scripts or personal data through the enquiry or booking process.
